Here's some photos from the gig i did for Mind on fire's website launch in Feb 09. This gig was at the deaf institute in Manchester about 200-300 people there, was a great gig. Thanks to mind on fire, all the people that came down and the other bands/artists who played.

So as you all probably know about Mind on Fire's new website by now seeing as i've been banging on about it. You might or might not know about my profile there and the free downloads of Knotts and Pesticide. Well now you do.
I was also featured on the CD that was given out that night too, so if you've got a copy check it out as theres plenty of good Manchester artists on it too.
I'm still looking for gigs up and down the country so if anybody wants me to play, give me a shout.
Thanks to everyone who came to the last gig at mind on fire. Was a great gig and i had loads of fun. I will be posting some pictures up soon and possibly some video too.

Gig at mind on fire website launch

I will be playing a gig at the Deaf institute in Manchester, at the first of three nights to celebrate the launch of Manchester club nite & collective Mind on fire. This is shaping up to be a great night with great bands and DJ's lined up, like art from the sketch city boys and live visuals from Cycloptic. Heres the full line up.

Gig at The pinch

I'm going to playing a laptop set at The Pinch on the 27th of November at Trof bar in the Northen quater, Manchester. I will be playing new songs from My favourite sound is orange plus some unreleased goodies and The Pinch resident DJ's will be spinning some great tunes as usual. Birthday celebrations will be going on too as it was my 22nd birthday on the 18th. Best of all its free so see you down there.

Bad news

The planned release of Neko Neko's first album, My favourite sound is orange, has been delayed due to the funding for the album being pulled. My favourite sound is orange was set to be released at the start of the summer 08 but has now been delayed untill at least November, possibly even the new year. There are plans to release singles from the album from september onwards, so keep your eyes peeled for them. I'm gutted about this and it feels like this album is never going to be released. In the mean time i've been working on the live set with the band and laptop sets. Hopefully will be playing soon.

Website redesign

As you can see neko-neko.co.uk has been redesigned and relaunched. There are many new features to the site such as a music page with more music on, updated live page, updated discography, links page, sitemap and a new contact page. I've also added a search function so you can search the whole site quickly. The forum is also a new feature and a place where you can discuss Neko Neko releases, gigs, news, write gig reviews and just kick back and chat. All past news items have been archived and can be read here.
The shop page has had a massive revamp and now sells DRM free, digital downloads of individual songs and full releases in 320 kbps mp3 and AAC formats as well as CD's.
